Owensboro, KY – Be our guest! Bring the entire family and experience Disney In Concert: Magical Music from the Movies with Troy Quinn and the full Owensboro Symphony on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at 7:00PM at RiverPark Center.
From Frozen’s Let it Go to Pirates of the Caribbean, the music from Disney’s films has captivated children of all ages for decades. “Children’s eyes are sure to widen as those catchy, fantastic tunes are performed live by the Symphony and four Broadway vocalists.” said Troy Quinn, Conductor of the Symphony. “As a life-long Disney fanatic, I can’t wait for this concert!”
Featuring beloved songs from some of the most famous movies scores ever — Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid— this concert brings Walt Disney’s stories and characters to life. Enjoy memorable melodies and clips from Disney movies projected on a big screen over the stage. Gwyn Payne, General Manager of the Symphony says, “Children are encouraged to sing along and dress up as their favorite princess or pirate! It will truly be a magical evening.”
